Battle of Badar (Ghazwa-E-Badar)
The Battle of Badar was the first Battle in the history of Islam. The Faithful followers of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) were first time put to really test their Faith in the Leadership of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him). Badar is the name of Well in Saudi Arabia. This battle was fought between muslims and Quraish 17 of Ramazan ul Mubarak 2 AH in the Islamic calendar. This Battle was a key battle in the early days of Islam. This Battle was the important Battle in the Islamic History and a turning point in the Muslim History.

Muslim Army
Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) went out on the day of Badar along 313 (three hundred and thirteen) Followers. All the Sahaba were very faithful and were ready to face the enemy of Allah and His Prophet. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) commanded the Muslim Army. The number of Muslim Army was very small but they all were true believer of Allah and his Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him). They were not afraid and they knew that they will succeed due to the blessing of Allah and with the Prayers of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him). These 313 Muslim believer will in remembered in the Islamic History due to their Valour and their Sacrifices. They are the truest heroes of Islam. They put all their comfort aside and left their homes to defend their faith and Islam.
Quraish Army
The number of Quraish Army was about 1000. They have 100 horses, and 700 camels with them.They all are well equipped and have camels and horses with them. when they saw the Muslim army they were very surprised they saw much more than a small of 313. But Muslim were determined and had Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) in them. Although they don't had the a lot of war equipment but they believes in Allah and his Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Result of Battle of Badar
Muslims win this Battle. 14 Muslims Martyrs. May Allah give them Jannah. In this Battle 70 Quraish were killed and 70 were arrested.
